The Innovation Hub is being developed by Innovate UK in cooperation with the British Business Bank, and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. It will help businesses to easily find the funding and the support they need to flourish and grow. Together, we want to make all the information they need available in one place, summarised and easy to find within three simple clicks.

We want to put businesses at centre-stage and provide them with the tailored support they need. We have worked hard to simplify the information about funding and support offers, and to respond to businesses’ requirements with appropriate filter and search functionalities.
Our user research has already highlighted the significant potential of bringing a new digital platform to market. We want to make sure that businesses can find everything with ease and that we respond to their requirements with an online experience that empowers them for future success.

Our plans for the future
Looking ahead, we will work on the following areas:
- Ease of use and immediate appeal to users.
- Providing further value to the business community by extending the current offer beyond signposting them to the available funding or support programme.
- Connectivity using a software interface allowing us to extend the capabilities of the platform drawing on the wide range of data being available via ourselves and our partner organisations.
- Facilitation of cooperation between our businesses and partner organisations.
Realising this potential through the creation of new opportunities for business engagement will be an important focus within our plan for action.
